We will achieve this goal by striving to understand our customers’ processes and needs; while providing on-time delivery of manufactured parts made with the highest standards of precision, quality and value.

Shop Overhead

Mercury Tool & Machine, Inc. was founded in 1949 and has grown from the original two-man machine shop into a large, modern manufacturing facility. Our plant encompasses over 76,000 square feet, (as you can see in the photos), located at 7420 Karl May Drive, Waco, TX 76708.

The original company philosophy of quality, service and value has remained unchanged. Flexibility and diversification are more than just words at Mercury Tool…they are a way of life.

Our most important product is a satisfied customer.

From precision sheet metal work to heavy stamping and forming, Mercury Tool has the equipment and experienced people to handle a large variety of customer needs.

Our CNC Machining Department includes a multitude of machines providing diverse opportunities for our customers. These include CNC lathes, single horizontal, twin spindles, and vertical; as well as CNC mills, vertical and horizontal, and CNC Horizontal machining centers.

press_deptThe sheet metal department has a long history of producing flat or rolled parts, capitalizing on our numerous precision rollers, as well as our Trumpf TruLaser for cutting and Strippit 30 ton CNC punch press for drilling.mercury-front-door

We also have a 20,000 sq ft warehousing facility to handle shipping and receiving an assortment of raw materials, finished goods, plus work-in-process storage to meet our customer requirements.

Our certified welder provides AWS specification welded products to meet customer quality expectations.

We also have an In-House Tool & Die department to facilitate first run projects, create dies for precision quality and to work closely with design and engineering projects.
